Games are at 7 PM, 8 PM, and 9 PM on the Grass and Dirt Field, with Los DP and HotBox's make-up game at 7 PM.
Flip Cup for Charity
What better way to raise money for a charity than to play a drinking game? It's a lot easier than selling chocolate in Westwood or running a marathon.
The Winners- Everyone who participated was a winner, but moral victories don't count in the real world. Congratulations to Westside on Hiatus for taking the crown, chocolate and $100 to spend at the End of Season party.
The Winners |
The Losers- the people who chose not to participate in the tournament because "we hate charity and we hate kids" then proceeded to play their own flip cup game in the corner by themselves.
The kid haters. |

Whiskey Kick-3 One Kick Wonders-2
We were told before the game by an unnamed league official (SoCal Val) that if we won against One Kick Wonders our captains would be released. This was bizarre in two ways: Val openly admitted to kidnapping our captains, and all along she has wanted us to lose only to demand a win against OKW. What is up with that?
Well win we did. The team came through admirably in a stunning performance. Lyle Lyle Crocodile and Scooter Naney were stupefied when they felt the awesome might of Whiskey Kick. The kicks were getting base runners and racing around the bases like quicksilver. The only thing stemming the flow of runs was a miscalculation by our Teutonic teammate Alex who wasn’t aware he couldn’t over run second base. In any case he was integral in helping other runners cross home plate.
Overall the Whiskey played hard and won out in the end. Our victory was short lived as we were demolished on the flip-cup tables. There was some team in-fighting, and hurt feelings but in the end we rallied and unified with the fact that our CAPTAINS WOULD BE RETURNED TO US!!! We made a late night visit to Whiskey HQ and popped open a few bottles of home brew. But awaiting us at HQ was yet another note from Val.
“Dear Whiskey,
Before you’ll see your captains again you better vote only for Find the Hole in the awards voting. If we don’t win every award you’ll never see your teammates again.
Signed
Valerie (I don’t even care that you know it’s me)

Take a look at the latest photograph below:
I wish I had a better resolution on this one, you can see Mallory’s tears if you look closely enough.
Toot it and Boot it- Definitely should go to Hotbox
Fastest Male- Adam Gard (the dude has major wheels)
Biggest Trash Talkers- yeah this one can go to Find the Hole
Most Spirited/Entertaining – It’s a toss up between OKW and Looking to Score who had mustache night the evening they played
Other than those awards I encourage you to vote your heart…VOTE WHISKEY KICK!!!
Solid defense.
Nice catches, pegs and unnecessary sliding.
And good regular season.
Now, let’s not be the Portland Trailblazers of Dogtown.
It’s playoff time.
Drink your All Sport.
Here’s to one of the most fun seasons we’ve ever had!
Bring on the playoffs!
